Giovanna has managed Funnelly Enough's business and fund-raising since her inventor GP brother won the inaugural Medical Futures Innovation award in 2001. She now heads up day-to-day management of Funnelly Enough Limited, working hand in glove with each member of the team to dovetail activities ranging from business and product development to manufacture, sales, finance, PR and promotion. From 1990 to 2006, Giovanna ran media relations consultancy Forte Communication.

Richard D'Silva

Richard brings tactical sales experience in high technology marketing with experience of selling into the NHS; he is responsible for developing the Funnelly Enough marketisation strategies from pre-trial introduction to post trial sales and distribution across all patented territories.

The Peezy was inspired by Vincent's female patients, many of whom berated him for requesting a mid-stream urine sample to be delivered into a 21mm internal diameter container; he vowed to do something about the problem. His knowledge and experience of general practice has been fundamental to Peezy's development and will influence its future applications as well as brand and product development in other areas. Vincent is an established writer; he co-wrote the Symptom Sorter, now used within teaching hospitals throughout the UK and is a regular contributor to print, web and broadcast media.

Nick Shelley
Head of Manufacture & Quality Assurance

Nick is experienced in the business of bringing flushable products to market; his expertise covers all of Peezy's manufacturing processes. He has a valuable Quality Assurance track record having set up ISO standards and CE marking regulation matters across a variety of medical products. Nick joined Funnelly Enough in Spring 07 with the specific remit to set up and maintain the highest standards of manufacture, distribution and traceability.

E-Synergy provides a combination of early stage finance, management support and training for accelerated growth to companies and technology entrepreneurs that have new technology as a key part of their prospects for commercial success; it is part of the g2i London Technology Gateway - a consortium that includes Grant Thornton, Library House, Quo-Tec and The Innovatory, also part of the Hackney Enterprise Network. G2i is funded by the LDA to improve the quality of new technology companies in London.
