28.03.09

Peezy has been shortlisted in the Product Design category of the D&AD Awards 2009.

D&AD Awards are hugely important, rewarding outstanding creativity, mould-breaking thinking and the highest standard of design and innovation. The D&AD Awards offer the creative community the opportunity to be judged by its harshest critics – its peers.

Over 270 eminent creative practitioners selected for their expertise in their field, looking for great ideas that are well executed and appropriate to their mediums. Over 50% of judges must vote yes for an entry to be Nominated.

D&AD was founded (as British Design and Art Direction) in 1962 by a group of London-based designers & art directors including David Bailey, Terence Donovan, Alan Fletcher and Colin Forbes (who designed the original D&AD logo). The group was dedicated to celebrating creative communication, rewarding its practitioners, and raising standards across the industry.

Since 1962, D&AD has set industry standards, educated and inspired the next generation and, more recently, has demonstrated the impact of creativity and innovation on enhancing business performance.

Results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday 11th June 2009 at The Roundhouse, Camden, London.
